We didn’t need reminding…

… but this team really is the best.

The Australian newspaper recently turned to League of Scholars co-founders Rasika Amarasiri and Paul X McCarthy (respected ex-Data61 colleague) to help conduct a data-driven study of Australian research, researchers, research institutions and research collaborations to find out who’s leading the pack and how we compare with the rest of the world. This was just released in a special report.

We are not surprised to see our partners CSIRO listed as Australia’s Lead Institution in Computer Security & Cryptography research, and UniSA as Lead Institution for Educational Technology research. They are also listed in the top six institutions for industry collaboration, ranking well above the industry average.

We could not be more pleased, though remain unsurprised, to see our team member Srecko Joksimovic (UniSA) named in the Early Achievers Leaderboard as the rising star of Educational Technology research.
